Help.

evening all.

I've got a problem tonight, I'm not too sure what to do about it.

This post may ramble or swear. I apologise right now as It's a harder one
for me to talk about.

I talk to on average 3-5 people a month offering support after a miscarriage, to those who need the support. It's a tough time for these people. In some cases it's rock bottom, where they could be one or two decisions away from doing something silly.

Please don't think I'm mentioning this to blow my own horn as I don't do this for recognition and I know I probably do fuck it up at times. I'm only human, but humans can apologise.

I want to hold an day, for both men and women to come to. who have experienced baby loss, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancies or similar experiences and need someone to talk to in an non judgemental situation by others who've been through it before. I'm not very good at organising things like this. Even my balls of steel rides have suffered because I've had little support. Hence If I were to hold a day or meetup I thought it would be an idea to ask if any organisations could help us.

If anyone has any Ideas on this one please drop me a line. I'm happy to work with charities, run a balls of steel, do whatever I can do to sort this.

Paul.

  1. Paul, you might want to hook up with the charity SayingGoodbye. the topic is one of their main focuses and I'm sure they'd welcome your initiative.

  2. Definitely took to Saying Goodbye, they are really approachable, and on Twitter a fair bit, so worth asking them. They do services for those around the country who have suffered baby loss too.
