Movember. The outcome

Woah Nellie! What a month we've had with the Movember madness.

If you've kept up with the story, or read it in the one of many worldwide publications or websites and tv you'll know the outcome in part. Here's the final word on it from me and Gus
In the end Gus, and his year-group raised around £100 for the the Movember Foundation with the school by wearing fake 'taches. This for me was a huge success. I will admit now I wish it had been done in a different way. But in some cases it's been a learning curve for both the school, who for the record work ruddy hard with fundraising. Seriously hard. On a positive note I will be in talks for another event for a local charity after Christmas which will tie into another huge event i do.

While Gus and the school were organizing the event I thought it was unfair the kids will come out of it with fake taches and nothing to show how much everyone at the school rocks for letting us do this.

So I dropped a message to bloggers asking for suggestions on what to do. Thanks to many lovely ladies and gents I was in touch with James from local company, Receptional and Jo from Find Me A Gift. Both of these lovely people offered up in total five prizes to give away to students who took part on the day.

I would like to personally like to thank James and all the amazing link building team at Receptional and Joanna from the awesome team at Find Me A Gift
Seriously check these two companies out. they are both utterly amazing and jam packed with amazing staff.

More importantly I would like to thank the staff and governors at the school, without working with them this would not have happened. WITHOUT THE SCHOOL THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE.

I can't say what's planned for Movember 2013 or another secret fundraising event. But I can tell you they'll both be fun packed and I'm extremely stoked about them both. Details soon.

Paul.

And again check out both receptional and Find me a gift. they both rock

  1. It was our pleasure at Receptional to be a part of this, and we look forward to getting involved in more charity work with you and the School in the future. Well done to everyone involved!
